The Bygones Weekend is one of the highlights of the Ffestiniog Railway event calendar. Experience some of the most significant eras of steam history over the course of the 3-day event.
Enthusiasts can enjoy an up-close look at a range of gravity, slate and freight trains and learn about their interesting past. Passenger trains will be running a full service from Porthmadog to Beddgelert, Blaenau Ffestiniog or Tan Y Bwlch.
The exact schedule for the 2026 event is still being finalised, but previous events suggest there will be a variety of stalls selling train related goods. These are likely to include books, photographs and merchandise.
